Dapol Counterlane Sets
The Powertrack (PT) sets have similar layouts to the original Matchbox sets. The Powertrack Plus (PP) based sets had the inclusion of cross roads tracks and/or jumps and/or switch tracks All sets came with lighted Powertrack cars.
The counterlane sets utilised the same box, so some boxes were stuffed to the brim and others not so much. Just the box white label had the name of the set in pen e.g. 'J-2'.
More limited range of cars too. Green TR7 and Red Porsche were the common ones to find as well as the LeMans cars.
As you will see they made errors on their paperwork...for example the PT2000 and PT4000 were 6v sets and yet the leaflet shows an 18v Transformer, The J4 set even mentions having a 6v battery box (By this time all UK sets were sold with a 6v transformer)
