I have personally collaborated on numerous projects with SlotPartz behind the scenes over the years for the rejuvenation and popularity of Powertrack, I am certain that it is a great partnership that will benefit everyone in the Powertrack Community.

WHAT IS 'FULLY RESTORED'?

All sets are stripped and assessed, every item is inventorised and a job sheet is created.

All accessories (Bridge Supports, Crash Barriers, Track Aprons, End Tabs etc), are checked. Any items missing are replaced, any items damaged are replaced without exception.

The box is then stripped before being cleaned and restored to the absolute best it can be. Please note that boxes can be very difficult and time consuming to restore and often have been repaired previously, a full and accurate description of the boxes will be provided for each individual set.

The track is then inspected, any damaged or missing track is replaced without exception (unless it is a 'specialist' and rare track piece that can't be replaced, however this is very seldom and will be openly referred to in the set description). The track is then trued, cleaned and restored using our very own SlotzPartz Formula+ Track Cleaner.

The cars are then fully stripped and thoroughly cleaned, before being power tested. The cars are then fully restored with ALL consumable items being replaced, including Front and Rear Tyres, Pickups, Springs, Lightbulbs, Motor Pinion gears and rear axles.  The cars are then fully serviced before being tested to ensure that they run exactly as they should.

The Power Pack and Hand Controllers are thoroughly inspected for cosmetic damage, then both voltage and resistance checked before being tested to ensure correct and full operation.

The entire set is then fully assembled and tested thoroughly to ensure correct operation and performance.

The set is then signed off and the track is cleaned again prior to being packed into its box.

Correct paperwork and operating instructions are then added and the set is ready to go.

This entire process takes at least a full day to complete and often takes much longer depending on; the original condition when the set is received at SlotzPartz, set size, number of cars etc etc.

The restoration process is never rushed, so please bare in mind that these sets are 40 years old plus and no set ever leaves SlotzPartz unless its as absolutely perfect as it can be.
